In the heart of the Ignon Valley, a unique place where people come to slow down, reconnect and breathe deeply was established over 13 years ago. The Domaine Pont-Roche
& Spa is the embodiment of slow living, championed by Frédéric Dansert, the estate's founder.
Frédéric Dansert: Pioneer of unusual luxury accommodation.
Frédéric Dansert, owner and creator of the estate, is the driving force behind it. His varied career in tourism, ranging from luxury establishments in Cannes to travels throughout France and around the world, as well as his deep love for the Burgundy region, led him to create a concept that was unique in our beautiful region at the time. He renovated the family estate, Le Moulin de la Roche, in Frénois, transforming it into a unique place featuring two exceptional and unusual accommodations, surrounded by nature.
It all began with Le Cube, an unusual accommodation with modern architecture and high-end comfort, which, thanks to its large bay windows, offers total immersion in the Ignon Valley.
La Cabane opened three years later, nestled amongst the greenery with a breathtaking view of the river. An ideal retreat for a romantic break, where intimacy and the good life reign supreme.
I’ve always been passionate about tourism… when I moved back to settle in Burgundy… it seemed only natural to open up my little corner of paradise so that I could share this place that I love so much with you!

The designer furniture and décor make the experience even more special, blending understated luxury with the bountiful natural surroundings. The aim: to offer a timeless retreat where well-being comes naturally – and we’ve been doing so for 13 years now!
